ADOPTING FROM THE SHELTER...
The Mountain Home Shelter takes stray cats and dogs of various sizes, breeds and colors. You can adopt one pet for $30.00 or two for $50.00. The animal must be spayed or neutered within 60 days at your own cost. It is the goal of the Mountain Home Animal Shelter to prevent unwanted animals, and by spaying or neutering this will greatly decrease the overpopulation. For

We sadly need to rehome Ellie. Her mom was border collie, dad is an unknown breed. Sadly, one of our dogs does not get along with her. She can be skeptical of strangers and takes a little bit to warm up. She loves swimming, camping, playing and running outside. Ellie goes on the paddle board and the boat with us sometimes. She has quite a lot of energy. She gets along with dogs, chickens and kids, but I would prefer her going to a kids free household because she can be nippy with kids sometimes, which I think it’s the border collie genetics. She is crate trained and knows basic commands. She free feeds and only eats as much as she needs. She is spayed and just got all her shots again about a month ago. She will come with a massive crate and her bowls, collar, leash and toys, I can include some food as well. She will be turning 2 years old December 29th this year. Located in mountain home

This spunky young girl is energetic and bouncy. Her favorite things are running around the yard and playing keep away with her toys. What a sweetheart this guy is! Quasi wants nothing more than to be by your side or in your lap. He a bit shy around people, however he warms up quickly. He is learning to walk on a leash for possibly the first time because he was likely a farm dog in his past. Quasi would do best in an active home that matches his working breed energy level!
