"There is nothing quite like celebrating a family coming together forever! We had the privilege of hosting an adoption party recently, and our hearts are so full. Please join us in praying for this sweet family as they walk through this beautiful transition.

Adoption tells a gorgeous story, mirroring the way we are all adopted into God’s own kingdom. But true adoption doesn't minimize the hard stuff; it meets the brokenness with love, patience, and grace. We are so incredibly proud to stand with this family in the joy, the hard work, and everything in between."

"Sometimes the most powerful stories in foster care aren’t the big moments — they’re the quiet ones.

A little girl who once needed these Essentials drinks just to gain weight has now grown healthy enough that she no longer needs them. And instead of throwing the extras away, her foster family brought every leftover case to our support center so another child in crisis can be cared for too. ❤️

This is why caring foster parents matter so deeply. Children entering foster care are often carrying invisible needs — physical, emotional, and relational — that come from seasons of uncertainty and crisis. Healing happens when families open their homes with patience, compassion, consistency, and love.

Foster parents can’t fix every hard thing a child has experienced, but they can provide safety, nourishment, encouragement, and the kind of steady care that helps children begin to thrive again.

Today these boxes are more than drinks on a pallet. They are a reminder that love multiplies. One child healed enough to no longer need them means another child will now be supported because a foster family chose to care well.

We are so grateful for families who say 'yes' to loving children and supporting families in crisis."

What if a child’s challenging behavior is actually a sign that they need to feel safe, known, and loved?

Many children in our communities have experienced trauma that can impact the way they connect with others. As churches welcome children into classrooms, youth groups, and ministries, church staff and volunteers have the opportunity to respond with empathy, patience, and consistency.

💙 𝗟𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗞𝗶𝗱𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗲𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗼𝗿𝘀 is a trauma-informed training designed to equip churches with practical tools and insights to:

✨ Prioritize connection over correction
✨ Understand how trauma impacts children
✨ Recognize when a child is feeling unsafe and experiencing dysregulation
✨ Implement trauma-sensitive strategies to help these children thrive
✨ Foster curiosity, compassion, and connection in your interactions with children

When churches are prepared to care well, they become powerful places of healing and hope. The CALL is here to help make that possible.

If your church would like to bring this kind of training to your team, contact The CALL in your area to learn more: https://thecallinarkansas.org/contact

"Today was a crazy day! Always busy on a Wednesday. It’s easy to get caught up coming and going. But when a teen asks for something specific and you can deliver, you drop everything and do it! And man I am so glad I did.

A special pair of shoes were needed. So, I went and purchased the shoes and brought them back. I think anyone who knows teens, knows it’s a rare sighting to get a smile. Well, these shoes made the biggest smile we have ever seen on this teen. 🥹 To top it off, when I came back after they had left, they left me the sweetest thank you notes on our board at the center! 😭

Every single day is not easy, but every single day is worth it! The smiles are worth it all. The small glimmers of joy are enough to fill the cup for the day.

Every dollar and donation you make goes to a child or a family’s healing journey. This is how we heal others. With love. Agape Love! No conditions, just overwhelming love. Thank you for being apart of answering this CALL with us daily. 💙🏠🫶"

"Tomorrow is my birthday."

These quiet words were whispered by a young child as he was being tucked into bed in his new foster home.

Earlier that day, his life had been turned upside down. He had been moved into an emergency foster home, left waiting for a more permanent solution to be worked out.

In the midst of all the uncertainty, his foster family wanted to make sure one thing was clear: He is worthy of being celebrated.

They confirmed the date with his caseworker and quickly stopped by The CALL Mall to pick up a birthday cake box, party supplies, and a few special gifts just for him.

Instead of another day defined by the unknown, he got to wake up to a day that felt joyful and full of love. For a moment, the disruption faded into the background, and he was simply a child being celebrated, reminded that he matters and that he is not alone.

Moments like these are possible because of the generosity of our community. Every toy donated, every birthday kit assembled, and every person who says yes to foster care reminds children that they are worthy of love and celebration, no matter their circumstances.

Thank you for helping create moments like this.
