Music in the Park is BACK tonight at Central Park with the first concert of the season featuring Neon Velvet! 🌳✨

Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, family, and friends and enjoy a beautiful evening filled with live music, dancing, delicious food, and community fun! ☀️🎸

🌟 Exciting Updates for Music in the Park! 🌟

Mountain House, we’re excited to share a new and improved event layout for this year’s Music in the Park, designed to better accommodate our growing community and enhance your experience at Central Park!

Here’s what’s new:

🎵 Passenger Drop-Off Zone
A convenient 5-minute Passenger Drop-Off and Loading/Unloading Zone will be available in the Town Hall Parking Lot near the tennis courts to help guests arrive safely and easily.

Special thank you to the Mountain House Muslim Association for generously supporting our summer events by providing additional parking for the community! 💛🚗

🚗 Expanded Parking Options available around Central Park, including:
• A new lot at the corner of Main St. & Providence to the right; open at 4:00 PM
• An additional lot on Giotta St., available for public parking after 5:00 PM

These improvements were made with you in mind, and we’re excited to continue enhancing the experience at Mountain House special events.

Who is going to see the Mountain House sky filled with glowing jellyfish, giant sea creatures, and incredible illuminated kites? ✨🪁🌌 Tag someone who needs a great night out this Saturday. 🌙✨

Mountain House is about to glow!!! Illuminated kites, giant glowing sea creatures, and free admission. This is the kind of night kids remember. Saturday, May 9 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Central Community Park.

The City is proud to partner with Aaria’s Blue Elephant to welcome children with special needs. Families are invited to arrive early at 5:30 PM to visit the Aaria’s Blue Elephant Sensory Zone and receive a VIP PASS for priority access to Kid’s Zone activities and fun giveaways and more!

Kites by “The Kite Man of Martinez,” Sparkles the Clown, a Kids Zone, and food vendors. 🪁

🎬🍿 Calling All Mountain House Verified Nonprofits! 🍿🎬

Want to raise funds while being part of one of Mountain House’s favorite summer traditions? Apply to become an official snack vendor at this year’s Central Park Cinemas series!

With crowds of approximately 700–800 attendees per movie night, selected nonprofits will have the opportunity to sell prepackaged movie-night favorites like candy, chips, soda, and more — all while gaining valuable community exposure through event promotions and marketing.

✨ One nonprofit will be selected per movie night through a random lottery drawing.

📅 Important Dates:
📝 Applications Due: Monday, May 25
🎟️ Lottery Drawing: Tuesday, May 26
📣 Selected nonprofits notified the same day

✅ Requirements for selected nonprofits:
• Verified Nonprofit status with the City of Mountain House
• Certificate of Insurance with Additional Endorsement
• Temporary Food Vendor Application submitted
