Mustang pride is shining beyond the classroom!

Last year, 1,639 students—64% of MHHS—participated in more than 100 clubs, giving Mustangs countless ways to connect, lead, serve, and explore their interests.

Our students also achieved incredible results:

🤖 Robotics: Two teams competed at the 2026 VEX Robotics World Championship after earning first-place honors in national RECF challenges.

🗣️ Speech & Debate: Twenty-one Mustangs represented MHHS during the school’s 10th appearance at the National Speech & Debate Tournament.

🏆 SkillsUSA: 11 state champions and national champion Anjali Palsaniya
💼 DECA: 350+ members and two first-place teams at State
🩺 HOSA: 53 state top-10 finishers and 20+ international qualifiers
🔬 Science Olympiad: Regional champions and MHHS’s best-ever state finish
⚖️ Mock Trial: JV San Joaquin County champions
🧪 Science Fair: First- and second-place honors in every high school investigative category, with four projects advancing to State

Our 140 Student Leadership students also work throughout the year to build school spirit, strengthen connections, and create memorable experiences for our campus.

These accomplishments represent students finding their people, discovering new talents, stepping into leadership, and realizing what they can accomplish.

More ways to belong. More ways to lead. More ways to shine.
That’s Mustang pride beyond the classroom!

Welcome back to another amazing school year, Mustangs!

We are excited to welcome our students back and share some of the incredible opportunities available at Mountain House High School. One of the things that makes MHHS special is our seven-period day, and the additional choice, flexibility, and access it provides students at every grade level.

While a traditional high school schedule generally includes six courses, MHHS students may take a seventh course to pursue enrichment, explore an interest, advance academically, access intervention or credit recovery, or participate in one of our many CTE and Project Lead the Way pathways.

This year:
80% of freshmen are taking seven courses for enrichment.
75% of sophomores are taking seven courses for enrichment, intervention, or credit recovery.
55% of juniors are enrolled in seven courses.
32% of seniors continue to take advantage of a seven-course schedule.

Even more remarkable, 43% of our seniors have already completed 230 credits–and their senior year has only just begun. Nearly half of the senior class has reached this significant academic milestone, creating greater flexibility to continue taking advanced courses, complete a CTE or PLTW pathway, explore additional electives, or shape their senior year around their individual goals. This is an incredible accomplishment for our students and a powerful example of what greater access to courses can make possible. READ MORE: http://tinyurl.com/MHHSMustangMessenger
