Mountain Lakes Public Library Makerspace The ML Makerspace provides creative opportunities for all Mountain Lakes residents. We have a nationally recognized high school 3d design program.

The Mountain Lakes Public Library Makerspace provides year round unique opportunities for all residents to learn and practice universal design and innovation. We focus on providing connections between hi tech and low tech resources and everyday subjects. Residents have access to multiple robotics products, building materials, 3d design software, 3d printing, 3d scanning, and computer science appli

cations. High School students improve and create universally designed, accessible projects. We build local and global community partnerships.

Kayley, Lorraine and Allison met with the Lakes Public Library Makerspace team today which includes teens participating in the National Science Foundation Empathy in Design internship program in partnership with the University of Colorado at Boulder.

We are always blown away by their creativity, problem solving and curiosity, and we're especially impressed by their commitment to inclusive design and work with adaptive technology. Stay tuned for what we're working on together this time.
