Interesting history from our neighbors...

Think you know your Denville history? Can you pick out the spot where Ray Richards was buried alive for 17 days way back in 1933? (It's the Burger King! 😲) If you're a local history lover -- or just want to learn some really cool Denville history -- we've got the perfect challenge for you!

Beginning on Tuesday, June 30th and continuing into mid-July, come visit the library and participate in our "Denville Then & Now" Scavenger Hunt. When we say this hunt is for ALL AGES, we mean it! Our littlest friends only need to find icons that match their hunt sheet. For older kids and grown ups, we've got tons of photos and facts. Oh, and did we mention the prizes? That's right! We've got prizes for everyone!

A big thank you to Peter Zablocki and the Denville Historical Society, Museum, and Research Center for giving us access to archival items and answering our many questions. We can't wait to see everyone dig up some local history with us at the library! 😁
