Citizens of Mountain in Pine we have permission to set off fireworks in the parking lot behind the City Hall. Please make sure that you pick up any debris or trash left from fireworks. We want to thank Winchoice USA for allowing us to use that parking lot.

Respectfully if you have a police issue contact Dispatch 5016223660 ex 1 to talk to an officer if it is an emergency call 911. It is not acceptable to contact officers on there personal Facebook or personal phone numbers for police matters. Our officers have lives outside of there normal duties thank you all for your support.

With Summer and the Holidays be mindful not to Drink and Drive. Make sure you are safe and have a designated driver.  Drive Sober our officers will be out looking for impaired drivers.

UPDATE: Officer Burton is still fighting and breathing on her own!

We want to send our thoughts and prayers to the family, friends, and blue family of Officer Burton from Richmond Indiana PD who was shot in the line of duty back on August 10. She was taken off life support today. Rest easy Officer Burton we have the line from here.
