If you see a FB post or text about a boil order, please check to see which of our many different community water associations is issuing the information. Different agencies are Sylamore Valley Water Association, Mountain View Water, East Richwoods Water, Pleasant Grove Water, West Stone County Water, Fifty-Six Water, etc.

If in doubt, check your water bill for your water association. Thank you.

STEP ONE: MV Water System cleared.
STEP TWO: Rural water associations (such as ours) will have to have samples cleared through the Health Department. This wiill be done as quickly as possible.
BOIL ORDER STILL IN AFFECT for Sylamore Valley Water Association.‼️

MOUNTAIN VIEW BOIL ORDER LIFTED

The Department of Health has released the 'Boil Water' Notice confirmed on 1/16/2024 by MOUNTAIN VIEW WATERWORKS for the Entire System.

Bacteriological samples taken on Monday, January 22, 2024 and Tuesday, January 23, 2024 were found to be free of bacterial contamination and a satisfactory disinfectant level has been established throughout the distribution system. The water is therefore considered 'Safe' for human consumption and the 'Boil Water' notice is hereby lifted.
