This week we held our annual employee picnic to thank our staff for all their hard work throughout the year and announce service awards and Employee of the Year.
Congratulations to Facilities Maintenance Manager Kyle Tanquay for winning employee of the year. Kyle couldn’t make it to the party, but Public Works Director Scott Pittenger shared why he was nominated.
Additionally Rodney Walters and Aiden Flynn from our Forestry Department were named 2025 CIRSA Safety Champion Award recipients. And not pictured, but worth mentioning, The Gondola’s own Jamie Haats was celebrated for recently winning Lift Mechanic of the Year from the Rocky Mountain Lift Association!
Each year at the picnic we also distribute service awards to staff (with the help of Mayor Pro Tem Tucker Magid), this year’s recipients were:
