At CSG, supporting mental health goes beyond the services we provide. It's part of how we show up for each other, too. ๐Ÿ’š

We believe the people doing the work deserve to feel supported just as much as the people they support. That means investing in our team's well-being, providing opportunities to grow, and creating a workplace that celebrates the chance to make a difference in others' lives.

The hard days are real, but so is the impact. Helping someone take a step they didn't think they could, or supporting a family member in a tough moment, that sense of purpose changes how you see your career and yourself.

If you've been looking for work that aligns with your values and gives meaning to your days, we're looking for compassionate, dedicated people to join our team across a range of programs and roles. Clinicians, direct support professionals, and everyone in betweenโ€”there's a place for you here.

Graduation should feel like a celebration. But for some, the end of high school or college doesn't bring relief. It brings something harder to name. Overwhelm that feels too big. A sense that reality has shifted.

If you're noticing changes in your teen or young adult that go beyond typical stress, trust that instinct. Early psychosis is real, it's treatable, and getting help early makes all the difference.

We're proud to share that CSG's Lisa Basci has been recognized yet again as a top Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) Instructor in Pennsylvania for 2026! Lisa received this honor for training more First Aiders than almost anyone else in the state of PA.

MHFA training isn't just a nice box to check, every person Lisa trains walks away better equipped to recognize the signs of a mental health crisis, know what to say, and connect someone to the help they need. That ripple effect reaches families, workplaces, and entire communities.

Lisa was celebrated at the national MHFA Summit on April 26 alongside top instructors from across the country. Congrats, Lisa, we're so proud of all your hard work and dedication! ๐Ÿ‘

CSG offers Mental Health First Aid training to individuals, organizations, and businesses right here in our community. Whether you're an employer, a school, or just someone who wants to show up better for the people around you, this training is for you. Everyone deserves to have someone in their corner who knows how to help.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month ๐Ÿ’š

This year's theme says it all: "More Good Days, Together."

Because when it comes to mental health and wellness, it's not about having perfect days, it's about having more good ones. For the individuals we serve. For the families we support. For the communities we're part of. And for each of us, too.

At CSG, we believe everyone deserves access to the right support at the right time. Whether someone comes to us navigating a mental health challenge or is living with an intellectual or developmental disability, we listen, learn what matters to them, and walk alongside them toward their best days possible.

This month, we're proud to join the national conversation โ€” and we're doing it in a few meaningful ways. From "going green" at our facilities, to mental health advocacy efforts, we're excited to share how we're celebrating and showing our support all month long!

We're proud to be part of this important and impactful work of fighting stigma and advocating for more resources and better access. If you or someone you know is looking for support, CSG is here.

This time of year can feel like one big highlight reel.

Prom. Photos. Celebrations. Constant comparison.

But for some, it feels different.

Feeling invisible.
Feeling disconnected.
Feeling like they donโ€™t quite fit in anywhere.

What can look like โ€œjust stressโ€ or โ€œteen dramaโ€ may actually be something deeper. Social anxiety, withdrawal, or feeling detached from reality can be early signs that a young person is struggling.

If youโ€™re a parent, caregiver, or friend noticing changes, trust that instinct. You donโ€™t have to wait for things to get worse to start paying attention.

CSGโ€™s EPIC program helps teens and young adults navigate these moments and build the support they need to move forward.

Start with understanding.
Start with a conversation.

Start with CSG.

Stress is a word we hear a lot. "I'm stressed." "That's stressful." "Don't stress me out." But what does stress actually look like?

Sometimes it looks like anxiety or feeling overwhelmed.

Sometimes it looks like being irritable, exhausted, or not sleeping well.

Sometimes it looks like pulling away from friends, struggling to focus, or just not feeling like yourself.

The truth is, stress doesnโ€™t always show up in a way we expect. And it often doesn't show up the exact same way every time.

Stress Awareness Month, is a good reminder to check in with yourself and the people around you. If someone seems different, more tired, quieter, or more overwhelmed than usual, it might be a sign theyโ€™re dealing with more than theyโ€™re saying. It's ok to notice and it's even better to check in.

A simple โ€œAre you okay?โ€ can go a long way.

Stress is a normal part of life, but the more we remind one another that it's never something you have to handle alone, the better we can all be at managing it, or getting the help we need to work through it.

Intensive Outpatient Programs, or "IOPs", are becoming a more common mental health treatment. They offer more support than weekly therapy, without hospitalization. Meaning individuals can receive the care they need while staying connected to their everyday lives.

In our latest post, we chat with Lori Humbert, our Director of Partial Hospital and DBT Programs, who is answering some of our most frequently asked questions.

Lori breaks down:
โœ” What an IOP is
โœ” Who itโ€™s for
โœ” What happens during treatment
โœ” How to know if it might be right for you or a loved one

If youโ€™ve been feeling overwhelmed or unsure what level of care makes sense, this is a helpful place to start.

When we talk about health at CSG, we include the wellbeing of your whole self: body, mind, and the connections that hold you together.

This World Health Day, we're talking about what it really means to be well. For so many people, that journey includes navigating a mental health condition, supporting a loved one who is, or simply trying to keep up with the weight of everyday life.

You're not alone in that.

At CSG, we walk alongside individuals and families through some of life's most challenging moments. Whether that looks like counseling and psychiatric care, support for teens and young adults showing early signs of psychosis through our EPIC program, intensive outpatient treatment, or home and community-based services for those living with intellectual and developmental disabilities, we meet people where they are and help them find a way forward.

Because getting well isn't a straight line. It's showing up, asking for help, and having the right support around you when you do.

This World Health Day and every day, we want you to know: help is here. For your mind. For your family. For your community. ๐Ÿ’š
