Yesterday our chapter had the honor to ride in the Moweaqua Pow Wow parade as Grand Marshals to represent the farmers in our community! A few of our officers put together an amazing float. We want to give a big thanks to Josh Shewmaker for driving us in the parade and to Chris Bright for making and donating the awesome Grand Marshal signs! We had so much fun throwing out candy and seeing all the familiar faces!

Today we had a great time assisting the Shelby County Pork Producers with serving the Shelby Electric Customer Appreciation Meal at the fairgrounds in Shelbyville! We enjoyed helping out and serving the people of Shelby County!

Tonight, our chapter was recognized as the Grand Marshal for Moweaqua Pow Wow! Thank you to the Pow Wow committee for having us!

We decided to host our officer training early this year and spent the day Wednesday, planning out our activities for the year! We chose our theme, designed our chapter shirts, had fun with some team building activities, put together a solid list for our Program of Activities, and had fun taking officer pictures. We are excited and ready to help our members to be active and successful this year! We’re looking forward to !

On Saturday evening we were honored to serve the 115th Assumption Alumni Banquet. We love serving this each year and getting to interact with the history and legacy of Assumption! Thanks to the alumni committee for having us!

We’ve kicked off our summer schedule in full force! Last Thursday - Saturday, we had our putt putt at Assumption Fest and hope everyone had a great time with it! We also had an awesome time in the parade on Saturday morning with the theme “Celebrating America’s 250th - Together We Shine!”
