This raffle is being held, with the permission and support of Bill Smith's family, to help Bill following the accident he was involved in this past week.

Bill is a lifelong resident of the Williams Valley area who has always been known for his willingness to lend a helping hand whenever someone was in need. His kindness, generosity, and dedication to our community have touched countless lives over the years.

Now it's our turn to give back.

Every raffle ticket purchased will help support Bill and his family during this difficult time. We encourage everyone who is able to participate, share this post, and keep Bill and his family in your thoughts and prayers as he continues his recovery.

Muir Fire went to Williamstown to help Liberty Hose Co No 1. Williamstown Pa. And Williamstown Area EMS, Inc. celebrate the Borough’s 200 Year Anniversary of its founding. The Rescue-Engine, Brush, Squad, and Tanker all were represented in the parade.

We also are pleased to announce that we were the recipients of the “Best Overall Fire Department” award. We appreciate the judges for this honor and are proud of our members’ continued dedication to maintaining cutting edge training, proven and capable equipment, and a never ending passion to save lives and property.

This morning, Tanker 22-31 responded as part of a Tanker Task Force assignment to Reilly Township.

While Tanker 22-31 operated on the assignment, an additional crew remained in the first due to staff the engine and provide coverage for our local area.

Muir Fire is proud to have all of our active members recently enrolled in the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health: National Firefighter Registry for Cancer.

Our members submitted data about their lives, habits, fire service history, as well as exposure to chemicals, smoke, and other substances so that NIOSH can better study, protect, and support firefighter’s with cancer.
