Very happy to be serving on the ICTC Board. I have been involved with ICTC since 1984 when I became a student in the upholstery program. Later I served on the Advisory Committee, became the Upholstery instructor then the Industrial Safety Specialist. Being a product of Vocational Education it is easy for me to be an Advocate for Career and Technical Education. During the last 31 months I have advocated for adding more trades programs to give more career opportunities for our area students. During this time my fellow board members and I have invested heavily in purchasing the best equipment to make our programs at ICTC second to none. We have added a new campus at Coweta with seven new programs. We have also added several programs on our other campuses, including Medical Assistant, Cosmetology, Computer IT, Plumbing and Electrical and Welding.
Thank you to my friends and the citizens of the ICTC district for giving me the opportunity to serve on this board and I will continue to strive to give our area students more opportunities for successful careers. Please let me know if I can answer any questions or assist in any way.
