Its been a busy last four days for us and all our neighbors we cant thank our mutual aid and ranchers enough for all the help we have recieved over all of this! We really appreciate the ems crew for running some communications for us along with the fire wife's that stepped up huge to make sure we had enough food and water to feed anyone that we came across without you we would of only ate a couple times in the last 4 days we hope this nice rain sets in and soaks the entire state of nebraska! Thank you all!!!

Today has the potential to be a bad fire day high temps, high winds, and relative humidity very low we are all in extreme fire risks with chances of dry lightning this afternoon and evening please be vigilant and call in anything as soon as possible

Also please have your windmills turned on and your fire skids loaded with water thank you all for the assistance we greatly appreciate it

This goes for ho**er county as well we will NOT be issuing any burn permits until substantial moisture has been recieved for our areas!! Please stay safe and vigilant the slight shower we recieved was not even close to enough to be outta the woods

Wednesday night at 11:58 pm we were mutual aided to the minor fire where we were able to bring 2 grass rigs and a tanker with 5 personnel we stayed on scene till approximately 5pm Thursday evening

The governor has extended the burn ban until April 10th

Starting today for the next 14 days Governor Pillen has put in place a burn ban no burn permits, no open camp fires, and any burn permits that have been issued but not performed are null and void. With the upcoming temps and wind forecasts please get those fire skids filled up and serviced to make sure they are operational please and thank you

With daylight savings time starting dont neglect your smoke detector batteries as well as testing them to make sure they are operable.
