🚑 Monthly Statistics Update 🚑
Each month, we share a snapshot of the work Mullens Fire Department EMS performs across Wyoming County and Southern West Virginia. Behind every call is a neighbor, family, or patient needing help during a difficult moment.
In May 2026, our crews answered 67 calls for service, providing care, support, and transportation throughout the region. From medical emergencies and cardiac events to routine transports and assessments, every response was a chance to help someone in need.
Our providers responded to emergency calls in Mullens, Itmann, Corinne, Herndon, Maben, Stephenson, Wyco, Amigo, Bud, Jesse, Pineville, Crumpler, Glen Fork, Oceana, and Saulsville, helping ensure residents had access to emergency medical care when they needed it.
This work is possible because of our dedicated team. With one frontline ambulance and only six employees, we continue serving communities across a large area day and night with professionalism and compassion.
These statistics represent more than numbers. They reflect patients who received care, families who found reassurance, and communities that rely on local EMS services every day.
Thank you to our providers, volunteers, mutual aid partners, and supporters. Your commitment helps us serve our communities and improve outcomes for those who depend on us.
