Daylight Savings time ends this Saturday, November 6th. Use this as a reminder to change the batteries in both your Carbon Monoxide(CO) and Smoke Alarms when setting your clock back. A separate road closure to happen -

On September 14th and 15th - CR 617 Mullica Hill Road will be closed from Monroeville Rd to RT 45. There is a failing storm pipe crossing that will be repaired. Local and business traffic will be able to enter from either direction.

Gloucester County Emergency Response has updated the fume report. The wide spread odor is coming from the Truck Stop in East Greennwich from a trailer containing about 7,000 gallons of Lubizol that is venting. The chemical has a rotten egg smell. It is not natural gas. Police, Fire, EMS, Haz-Mat, OEM, and NJDEP are on location mitigating the situation. It is recommended to stay in doors and limit outdoor activities at this time.

An advancing cold front brings potential for severe thunderstorms and gusty winds this evening and tonight. The entire state is under a "slight risk" of severe weather as scattered severe thunderstorms are expected.

💨Damaging winds are the primary threat for this event so be sure to secure loose items in your yard.
⛈Small hail may be possible in the strongest thunderstorms.
🌪Tornadoes cannot be ruled out at this time.
