When one of our VFD members is doing traffic control at a wreck scene like today, please don’t flip them off and get aggressive with them (I’m talking to you new Tahoe dude and GMC pickup dude).

Those people you’re slowing down for are our family, neighbors, and friends.

And law enforcement won’t tolerate that behavior.

Slow down means slow down. We’re not trying to inconvenience you. We’re trying to keep everyone safe.

Y’ALL 🚨‼️🚨

Thank you for showing up for our annual fundraiser today! Numbers were mind-blowing! And your generosity today in these tough times was amazing.

We are so grateful for our community and the way you support the VFD.

We want to thank the following businesses for their support of the VFD through the year. We couldn’t do it without their generosity. And if you need anything they might have, please consider them first before shopping out of town:
—————————————————————-

Live Oak Auction - Donated a pallet of traffic cones so that we can provide better safety at traffic scenes! The best auction in Texas!

——————————————————————

James Jones - Donated the wood for our new BBQ pit! He is so supportive of our first responders! And he’s a good sheriff!

——————————————————————

S & S Supply - They generously provided the materials necessary for a new water line and rainwater catchment system at a discount! They have everything in that store! And they fix and sell tires, too!

——————————————————————

Schwartz Foodstore - Always willing to help us with supplies for our fundraiser! And their meat department is amazing!

The kids from Mullin ISD! They came and worked hard to help serve and do what needed to be done! Thank you!

——————————————————————

Stuart Peters and SP Construction -Stuart is a huge supporter of the VFD. He donated time, equipment, and materials to help us put in the rainwater system, water line, and other tasks! We appreciate him so much.

——————————————————————

Terry Owens, Jerry King, and George King devoted so much time and work to get everything ready with the pit and the water system.

And last, but not least, the volunteers of the VFD. Our VFD is thriving thanks to you.
