Preschool Storytime: The Sense of Sight.

We read stories about how our eyes and our sense of sight work as well as what it's like going to the eye doctor. We talked about how some people use glasses to help them see and how people who have visual impairments can read braille. Then we did a fun activity where the children put on blindfolds and tried to pick up the balls and put them in the buckets without being able to see. Then they tried it without the blindfolds. We had different activities set up with I-Spy books, magnifying glasses, binoculars, sensory bottles, view finders, and learning vocabulary words about our sense of sight. Join us next week for the Sense of Touch!
