In 2003, Take Five Community Outreach opened in Muncie, Indiana. It's purpose was to be a non-food food bank - a place where ANYONE who had a need could come, fill out a quick demographic survey (so that we could report demographic information to our donors), and choose ANY five items from a list of items that we would consistently keep in stock. We would stock items such as toilet paper, cleaning supplies or hygiene items.
We ended service to the community in September 2012 - we were faced with moving our location for the second time in three years, and we decided to "go out on top."
Fast-forward to 2017: There has been renewed interest in "re-booting" the services that Take Five Community Outreach provided to the community. Realizing that times change, as do communities, we wanted to gather input as to what would be important things to consider when "re-booting" this service.
If YOU currently live in the East Central Indiana Area (Delaware and surrounding counties), please take a few moments, complete the survey and help us to better serve our community! All responses are anonymous - but are very important and appreciated!
ALSO - local peeps - could you please post this on your page so that other members of community can see it (and share it) - I'd like to get as many responses as possible.
Thank you so much for your help!
Sincerely,
Liane Harrold
