🌟 Family Recovery Court Needs Your Help! 🌟

Our Family Recovery Court families are working so hard to create safe, loving homes — and sometimes a little extra help from our community makes all the difference.

Right now, we’re looking for:
👧 Girls clothing: Size 3T and shoe size 9
👧 Girls clothing: Size 7/8 and shoe size 13
👦 Boys clothing: Size 14/16 and shoe size 7

We’re also hoping to find a tablet or laptop for one of our moms who is studying to earn her GED. Having access to technology would open so many doors for her education and future.

The Delaware County FRC page has gained some new followers recently, so we wanted to take the time to welcome everyone, and introduce the FRC program!

We are so glad you're here and have taken an interest in our program! Family Recovery Court (FRC) is a collaborative, family-centered program that supports parents working toward recovery and reunification with their children.

Our mission is to improve outcomes for families impacted by substance use, by connecting parents with treatment, community resources, and a supportive team dedicated to their long-term success.

FRC brings together the court, treatment providers, child welfare, and community partners to create a path of accountability, compassion, and hope. Through this program, parents have the opportunity to build a health foundation for themselves and their families.

Family Recovery Court is beyond grateful to Toyota of Muncie for going above and beyond to support one of our graduates! Thanks to their generosity, expertise, and love of the Muncie community, this mom was able to purchase a van for herself and her four children! 🚗❤️

Lindsey has worked tirelessly to rebuild her life after overcoming trauma and addiction. Through courage, determination, and unwavering love for her children, she has built a new life. Today, she stands as a powerful example of resilience. Lindsey's strength, grace, and perseverance have been nothing short of inspiring. She has shown all of us what's possible when you commit to growth, healing, and a better future.

Special shoutout to Max Hart, who was patient, kind, and so knowledgeable throughout this process. He made the experience fun and stress-free! FRC is so grateful for his part in helping make this dream a reality!

The care and dedication shown by the Toyota of Muncie team remind us how strong community support can help families reach their goals. Having safe and reliable transportation means so much more than just getting from place to place, it means peace of mind, new opportunities, and the ability to move forward with confidence.

Insurance will be billed when available; you will not receive a bill. Please bring your photo ID and insurance card if you have coverage.

For most people, if you have not yet received the updated vaccine (approved by CDC in fall 2023), and it's been at least two months since your last Covid vaccine, you are eligible. Visit the CDC website for eligibility info.

Open Door offers monthly Covid vaccine clinics on the second Thursday of each month through March at our downtown Muncie health center.

Today we celebrate our next round Family Recovery Court graduates. Our successful participants have completed all three phases of our program and achieved milestones such as employment, housing, completing treatment, and reunifying with their children. They are incredible, hardworking members of our community and we celebrate them!
