🚨 Vehicle Break-Ins Reported – Information Needed 🚨

The Muncy Borough Police Department is currently investigating multiple vehicle break-ins that occurred last night within Muncy. Several items were taken from unlocked vehicles.

We are also aware of similar incidents recently occurring in South Williamsport.

If you have any information, or possess home surveillance or doorbell camera footage that may have captured the actors involved, please contact the Muncy Borough Police Department as soon as possible.

🚨 ATTEMPTED BURGLARY INVESTIGATION – MUNCY BOROUGH 🚨

The Muncy Borough Police Department is currently investigating an attempted burglary that occurred on South Main Street on March 12, 2026, at approximately 3:48 a.m.

During the incident, a suspect used a brick in an attempt to break into a local business. Police believe the suspect may have also attempted to enter other nearby businesses or residences in the area.

📸 Photos of the suspect taken in the area around the time of the incident are attached.

Suspect is believed to be a white male in his late teens to his early twenties.

If you recognize this individual or have any information related to this incident, please contact the Muncy Borough Police Department as soon as possible. Your assistance can help us continue this investigation and prevent similar incidents from occurring in our community.

As you’ve probably heard (from the weather station, your neighbor, family, and even friends) a significant amount of snow may be rolling into town this weekend please plan ahead and remove your vehicles from the street.

🚨 Important snow math:
Once snow reaches 2 inches, any car still parked on the street will earn itself a souvenir ticket.( Parking ticket)

Most borough residents have off-street parking. If you’re one of the rare and mysterious few who don’t, fear not—here are some parking adventure options:

❄️ Your own front or back yard (creative problem-solving encouraged)
❄️ Municipal parking lot
❄️ Hear the plow coming? Start the car and drive a victory lap around the block
❄️ Various vacant FEMA lots on North Market St
❄️ Across from the Muncy Borough Police Department (wave hello 👋)
❄️ Waldron Park / Green Street Park
…just to name a few!
