Join us tomorrow for Bunny Tales at 10. We are going to plant some veggies and herbs for our rabbit Monty in our new children's garden, share a story, and decorate our sidewalk with chalk. Monty's excited for fresh veggies! (He is a bit blurry from being so happy for his breakfast 😄).

We are ready to sign up for summer reading 2026!

Participate in a library summer learning program and pop in to collect a summer reading checklist. Kids can read for 15 minutes, four times a week to come in weekly and claim a prize from our prize table! Adults can fill out a bingo sheet with fun activities (like taking a nap, yay!!) and claim a prize.

We are looking forward to sharing all this summer fun with you! 😊

This week, Open Play is in our community room Tuesday 5/26, 10-6, Wednesday 5/27, 9-4, Thursday 5/28, 10-6, and Friday 5/29 9-4. Monty will visit with a story for Bunny Tales, Wednesday at 10. We have dinosaur play-doh, paint dots, a mask craft, sorting activities, pretend vet clinic, grocery store (best prices in town!), a shelf of books to read and a toy chest full of building blocks, animals, tea sets, and cars.

Update on our triceratops head: First, Ms. Amber used a Brodart box to make the skeleton base, then covered it in foil to create depth, ( hot glued to the cardboard) followed by papier mache. When this dries, she will put a textured layer of air dry clay over the mache, and paint with acrylic for a realistic dinosaur! Stay tuned.
