I as acting Chief at Munford Vol Fire Department original and Commander of Munfordrescue Squad
Deal with alot of unexpected situations with so many emotions tied to those calls. Sometimes the calls go well but many times they do not. Grief is something we all do differently, some move on past the hurt and sadness more quickly than others because it touches us all differently, not that the pain and scares aren't left with us, it's just that life is on borrowed time. Nothing can ever prepare us for the loss and void of losing a loved one or friend, and the emotions or emptiness it leaves us to struggle with. My Heart hurts everytime we lose someone even if I don't know them personally I do know they are loved by other's. I am making this post for those outthere that may need a ear, and prayer, and kind word, that death has taking from us. Munford Fire Dept will have its doors open today, to offer a place to gather and talk with your friends or loved ones and find ways to lean on each other for comfort and guidance especially after yesterday's tragedy at Oxford Exchange. There are no words that I can say at this time to take your hurt away, but we love each of you and when you feel weak and cannot stand let us help you, Noone stands alone.
God Bless this family as we ask God above to lift them up in his Grace and direct them in these difficult days ahead 🙏
Say this with me please,
Our Father who art in heaven Hallowed be thy name, By kingdom come thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven, give us this day our daily bread and forgive us of our trespasses and we forgive those who trespass against us and not lead us into temptation but deliver us from evil, for thine is the kingdom of glory forever amen 🙏
