It's been a very successful week on the scoreboard for your Ironmen, and the girls soccer team added to the win total last night in a hard-fought game against Chartiers-Houston. Brooklyn Perhacs scored twice on assists from Talia Tozzi and Alexis Anstiss as Steel Valley earned the 2-1 win. Ella Collins allowed just the one goal and played a strong game in net. Congratulations on the win!

The girls volleyball team took care of business against Penn Hills on Tuesday. The junior varsity team won 2-0, while the varsity squad outlasted Penn Hills 3-2.

Congratulations to the boys soccer team for their win over South Allegheny on Tuesday! The Ironmen defeated the Gladiators 4-3.

The Steel Valley High School varsity football game scheduled to be played on Friday, September 4 at Clairton High School has been canceled.

The Steel Valley School District appreciates the communication from Clairton regarding the decision to cancel the game. We understand the disappointment this may cause, as both communities were looking forward to this contest between two storied programs.

Our football program will turn its attention to its next game on September 11 against Western Beaver. We hope the Steel Valley community will join us at William V. Campbell Field at 7 p.m. to cheer on the Ironmen.

Welcome back, Steel Valley! We were so excited to welcome our high school and middle school students back on to the secondary campus this morning.

We're eager to get the 2026-27 school year underway and to see the continued growth of each of our students!

A quick reminder for parents/guardians - during arrival, please pull all the way up to the drop-off sign in front of the school. This will help us manage the traffic coming off Main Street onto campus as best as possible. Thank you!
