Meet Matt! 🌟

Matt joined Popa Heating & Coolings team in November 2020 and became our dedicated Field Supervisor in 2023! 🐾

Matt loves how much time Popa dedicates to training. Whether it’s factory training or in-house sessions, he’s happiest when teaching and training fellow technicians and installers to perform their best.

Actually, taking the Trane factory tour in Texas was Matt’s most memorable moment with Popa, especially seeing the SpinFin coil machine in action.

Outside of work, Matt is an avid backpacker, enjoys reading a wide variety of books, occasionally plays video games, and builds scale models and miniatures.

Matt’s best advice to anyone looking to be in HVAC is to become a lifelong learner. This trade is full of new situations and equipment, and a learner mindset will carry you far. Anyone interested in getting into HVAC should highly consider Ivy Tech. Indiana residents may be able to attend for free, and Ivy Tech’s HVAC program is top-notch.
