There are 3 elementary schools, 1 middle school, and 1 high school. There is also 1 early childhood educational center. Known for its excellence, all of the schools in this district are blue ribbon and four star rated schools. Munster High School, the district's only high school, is one of seven Indiana schools included in the Newsweek's 2006 Top Schools list at number 1,134. The school also made the list in 2008 (1257) and in 2010 (1151).

Hey, Elliott girls—are you ready to BE BOLD? Girls on the Run is coming to Elliott Elementary!
Girls in 3rd–5th grade are invited to join Girls on the Run, a fun, empowering program where girls build confidence, make new friends, play games, and discover their Heart Power—the power to speak up and share what’s inside their hearts!
What to expect:
- Meet twice a week for 10 weeks
- Fun activities and meaningful discussions
- Create a team project that supports our community
- Celebrate the season by completing a 5K!

Season Information:
- Practice Days: Mondays & Wednesdays
- Time: 3:30–5:00 PM
- Season Starts: Monday, September 14
- Program Fee: $20–$180 sliding scale, with financial assistance available

Munster High School students and families are invited to explore opportunities and start planning for the future at our College & Career Fair!

📅 Tuesday, September 22
- Juniors: 6th Period | 1:09–1:56 PM
- Seniors: 7th Period | 2:03–2:50 PM
The fair will also be open from 3:00–4:00 PM for parents, freshmen, sophomores, and ACC students.

This is a great opportunity to explore college options, learn about career pathways, ask questions, and discover what might come next after MHS. Mark your calendars!

We’re excited to welcome our Eads Elementary families for Parent Orientation!
Join us on Wednesday, September 2 for an evening to meet your child’s teachers and learn more about classroom procedures, curriculum, and what to expect throughout the school year.

Wednesday, September 2
Doors Open: 5:45 PM
🕕 Session 1: 6:00–6:30 PM
🕡 Session 2: 6:30–7:00 PM

Teachers will present their information twice, so parents with children in multiple classrooms have the opportunity to visit more than one classroom.

Please remember: This is a parent-only evening. Students and siblings should remain at home.
Kindergarten & 1st Grade parents do not attend. We look forward to welcoming our Eads families and making this a wonderful, informative start to the school year!

Today we celebrated Wendy Dorabialski, who is retiring after nearly 24 years of service to the School Town of Munster.

Wendy has been part of STM since September 2002 and served as our Cafeteria Supervisor. We are grateful for her dedication and the many years she has given to our students and schools. Congratulations, Wendy, and best wishes in retirement!

Tiny backpacks. Big adventures. Brand-new beginnings.

Our Mini Mustangs at Frank H. Hammond Elementary had a wonderful first day!
From discovering their classrooms to meeting teachers and making new friends, our youngest learners officially began their FHH journey today.

There are so many exciting moments ahead, and we can’t wait to watch these Mini Mustangs grow, learn, and make memories together. What a great way to start the year!
