Tornado Watch: THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WATCH FOR: HUGHES, HYDE, JONES, STANLEY, AND SULLY COUNTIES THIS WATCH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL: MIDNIGHT

A massive TORNADO WATCH covering the central parts of two states has been issued for this afternoon and tonight until midnight. This included the ENTIRE Riverfront Broadcasting listening area.

We continue to monitor the potential for severe weather Sunday into early Monday across the state. Focus for storm development is the western Dakotas, then tracking east through the evening with threats of large hail, damaging winds and a tornado or two. Risk diminishes late evening/early morning as things move east to just pockets of hail and strong winds.
