Description: Evaluation of water and wastewater systems and what to do with that data.

Bio: Joey Allston is a Utilities Project Manager at Ardurra and is licensed as a professional engineer in the state of Tennessee. He works with utilities and municipalities on multiple facets of water and wastewater infrastructure: condition assessment, asset inventory, permitting, and design of rehabilitation projects, water distribution systems, sewer collection systems, and treatment systems. Joey develops and deploys field data collection and data management systems to develop an understanding of the condition and configuration of existing systems. His goal is to ensure that owners/operators have access to their data to assist them in making decisions about their system.

Description: Corrosion Protection and Asset Life Extension in Water & Wastewater Facilities

Bio: Teresa Swystun is a Regional Sales Manager and Technical Support professional at Belzona, bringing a strong blend of sales leadership, technical expertise, and customer-focused problem solving. In her role, she supports distributors, contractors, and end users across her region by delivering tailored solutions for asset protection, repair, and maintenance in demanding industrial environments. Teresa works closely with customers to assess operational challenges, recommend appropriate Belzona technologies, and provide hands-on technical guidance to ensure successful application and long-term performance.

10:30 – 11:30 – Technical Presentation by Drew Williamson on Protecting the Plant for the Long Haul: Integrating Pretreatment and Environmental BMPs

Description: Using a robust pretreatment plan to protect the operators and the assets of an Utility.

Bio: Drew Williamson is an Environmental Project Manager at Ardurra with experience in environmental compliance and permitting and water/wastewater consulting projects including pretreatment coordination. He works with utilities to help them meet regulatory requirements and works with industrial users to ensure protection of the wastewater treatment plant and collection systems. Drew partners with plant operators, industry representatives, and regulators to address discharge issues, recommend practical and cost-effective solutions. He also assists with environmental permitting, compliance plans such as SWPPP, SPCC, and slug control plans, general water/wastewater studies and consulting, and due diligence work.
