I got this table from a lady who had purchased it from the original maker’s granddaughter so the actual age is unknown but it is old and it is handmade with the beauty marks and blemishes to prove it. Normally I would sand and re-stain a solid wood piece, but it felt wrong to erase the scuffs and bumps well loved furniture earns over time so I opted to give the existing finish a little refresh while preserving its character. It came with two chairs and will be available very soon at Four Sisters Antiques And Vintage.

I’ll be hosting a DIY paint class May 28th 5:30-8pm at π‘πž-𝐈𝐧𝐯𝐒𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐞 π‡π¨π¦πž. The cost is $65 and will include a bottomless chair to use as a planter, a new Wooster shortcut paintbrush, and access to all of my open stock DIY paint and topcoats. I’ll walk you through the different kinds of DIY Paint and topcoats and help you paint you chair to suit your taste. This is going to be a super fun class, I hope to see you there!
