Behind every closed door is a story. Some stories are filled with fear, isolation, and pain. But with support, compassion, and community, those stories can become ones of healing, hope, and freedom.

Join us for Behind Closed Doors: From Fear to Freedom on October 17, 2026, at 1:00 PM in the James Union Building as we stand beside survivors and raise our voices for prevention and change.

Together, we can remind survivors they are not alone. Together, we can help turn fear into freedom.

In observance of Juneteenth (June 19), our office will be closed as we honor the end of slavery in the United States and reflect on the ongoing pursuit of freedom, dignity, and equality for all.

Juneteenth also offers an opportunity to recognize the connection between freedom and safety. Survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault deserve to live free from harm, with access to support, healing, and empowerment. We remain committed to standing with survivors and ensuring help is always within reach.
