Our Mobile Sensory Space Experience was filled with smiles, exploration, learning, and meaningful connection throughout the community. From hands-on sensory activities to educational resources focused on emotional wellness and sensory support, it was amazing to see individuals of all ages and abilities come together in such a positive and welcoming environment. 💙

A huge thank you to everyone who attended, participated, volunteered, and helped make this event such a success. Events like these remind us how important inclusion, understanding, and community support truly are.

We also want to give a special thank you to everyone who helped educate and inspire our guests about sensory wellness, mental health awareness, and emotional regulation tools that can make a real difference in everyday life.

We loved every moment — and this is only the beginning. 🫶

Sometimes the work our team does reaches far beyond the walls of our centers — and this is one of those moments. ❤️

We want to give a very special shoutout to Christy Wood for going above and beyond to help someone in a heartbreaking situation.

“I just have to give a big shout out to Christy Wood. She helped me yesterday with a lady that had been homeless that we helped. The lady is in the hospital and this hospital wasn’t trying to help her with insurance the Tencare choices. She has been in the hospital for over 30 days now she has Chicago insurance. She was trying to get it changed over to Tencare choices. Normally the hospital will do that changeover but they were refusing to, so we didn’t know what to do or who to call and it came to me to call Christy and she told me exactly what to do. She wasn’t for sure that it was right that she was just advising me what she would do so I did it and it was right and so today they have went to eligibility trying to get this young lady some help and get her on TenCare choices program. Anyways, it’s a very long sad story and the lady was running from a from a man that was abusing her physically so she had trauma. We met her at the gas station and it was on our heart to help her. So I just wanted to say how grateful we are for our company and for you guys being so great and for the staff, especially Christy for caring and going above and beyond the called of duty. -Zachary”

🌟 MOBILE SENSORY SPACE EXPERIENCE 🌟

Join us on May 12th for a unique interactive sensory experience at Group Effort!

This multi-mobile sensory space will give participants the opportunity to explore, touch, feel, and learn about sensory wellness in a safe and engaging environment. Guests will receive education on sensory tools, how sensory spaces can support mental health and emotional regulation, and the positive impact sensory engagement can have on overall well-being.
