At Read To Succeed, we believe the power of literacy transforms lives. 📚

We see it every day, from adult learners who improve their job prospects by taking our ESL classes to families who build their home libraries with the books we provide.

Through the gift of your time, resources, and financial support, you help us make a difference in the lives of the people we serve. 🤝

Every dollar raised helps us carry our mission forward. If you’re already giving, we want to say thank you. If you would like to start giving, you can contribute any amount here: readtosucceed.org/

Parents, now that school is out, it’s the perfect time to sharpen your children’s foundational skills to prevent the summer slide. ☀

The summer slide, also known as summer learning loss, is the overall decline of academic knowledge that students can experience during summer break.

How can you help?

✅ Encourage them to choose their own books and read 20 min. a day.
✅ Do fun activities with them that build their math skills. Get creative!
✅ Partner with them to create a real-world project.

History enthusiasts, here’s a little something for you! ✨

Our friends at Linebaugh Library (Rutherford County Library System) are kicking off the grand opening of “The American Revolution Experience” tonight at 5pm.

This traveling exhibit will feature display panels and interactive, digital kiosks that offer a combination of powerful storytelling, innovative technology, one-of-a-kind artifacts, and first-hand accounts to deepen our modern understanding of the events that led to our nation’s founding.

Tonight’s celebration will include a special appearance by Dr. Amy Sayward, a MTSU history professor, the director of the American Democracy Project, and chair of the campus’s Semiquincentennial Committee.

After a presentation by Dr. Sayward, there will be a reception with Colonial-style cookies from The Sweet Addiction.

We encourage you to come out, enjoy the exhibit, and invite friends and family members to join you in celebrating our nation’s history! 🇺🇸
