Yard Sale Update: New Dates Announced!

Due to the incoming inclement weather forecasted for May 29–30, the Annual Murfreesboro Rescue Mission Yard Sale has been postponed to ensure the safety of our volunteers, donors, and community supporters.

🗓️ New Yard Sale Dates:
Friday, June 26th – Saturday, June 27th

We are still gratefully accepting donations of gently used items and appreciate your continued support as we prepare for this important community event. Please use the link below to schedule your donation drop-offs and spread the word!

Sometimes the people doing the hardest work in our community are the ones who never ask for recognition. Today, we want to pause and celebrate two people who continue to lead with love and a heart for service, Ed and Tiah Grimes.

Through the work of the Murfreesboro Rescue Mission, they have dedicated themselves to providing help, hope, and healing to our neighbors experiencing homelessness throughout Rutherford County. Their vision continues to inspire so many in our community to love people well and serve with purpose.

We are incredibly grateful to see their story highlighted by VIP Murfreesboro in the May 2026 feature. Thank you, Ed and Tiah, for leading with humility, compassion, and unwavering faith.

Join us in congratulating Ed Grimes, Founder and Executive Director of the Murfreesboro Rescue Mission, on his recent feature in "Everyday Excellence in Rutherford County" during a Black History Month celebration on The Jack Diggs Show!

Mr. Grimes has dedicated his life to serving the most vulnerable in our community, leading with compassion, consistency, and unwavering faith. His work through the Murfreesboro Rescue Mission continues to provide shelter, resources, and hope to individuals and families in need.

In October, the Murfreesboro Rescue Mission hosted an Annual Golf Tournament. It was a fantastic day on the course filled with fellowship, friendly competition, and a shared passion for serving our community.

The Murfreesboro Rescue Mission is dedicated to serving those experiencing homelessness and crisis by providing meals, shelter, and life-transforming programs that restore hope and dignity. Events like this tournament play a vital role in helping us continue that mission.

This past September, we were honored to gather for our Annual Banquet and Silent Auction, hosted by the Murfreesboro Rescue Mission. It was an inspiring evening filled with messages of hope, community, generosity, and a shared commitment to making a difference.

The Murfreesboro Rescue Mission exists to serve and support those experiencing homelessness and crisis in our community, providing meals, shelter, and life-changing resources rooted in compassion and dignity.
