Join the Murfreesboro Police Department for our "School's Out for Summer Bash" on Friday, May 29, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at TWO locations:
• Barfield Park – next to the playground
• Old Fort Park – next to the playground
Look for the welcome flags and come enjoy:
• Bouncy houses
• Hot dogs
• Bubbles
• Dance music
• Summer fun with our SROs

Do you know these men?
Murfreesboro Police Department detectives are asking for the public’s help identifying two people of interest in a theft investigation at Boot Barn on Old Fort Parkway.

Investigators say that on May 22, one man acted as a lookout while the other removed his boots, put on a new pair of boots, and left the store without paying.
The individuals were seen leaving in a black Nissan Pathfinder SUV.

Anyone who recognizes the pair or the vehicle is asked to contact Detective Gonzalez at 629-201-5638.

Members of the Murfreesboro Police Department enjoyed participating in Career Day at Black Fox Elementary School and engaging with students about careers in law enforcement and public safety.

Students had the opportunity to take photos by a police car, meet officers, and hear from the Special Operations Unit while learning more about the important role police officers play in the community.
