We are looking for a reliable, independent person who can stay calm during stressful situations. The position provides case management and support services to clients of our emergency shelter. You must be able to pass a background check and a drug test. You also need to be able to lift 20 lbs. and have your own transportation.

Reach of Cherokee County just received a suspicious email from a **Gmail account** regarding our **Amazon and PayPal accounts**.

Thankfully, **we recognized the warning signs and DID NOT fall for it!** But it is an important reminder that **SCAMS ARE REAL—and scammers are getting more convincing every day.**

⚠️ Be cautious of unexpected emails, texts, or phone calls asking you to:

* Click a link
* Verify your account
* Provide passwords or personal information
* Send money or make a payment
* Act immediately because your account has supposedly been compromised

**STOP. THINK. VERIFY.** Contact the company directly using its official website or app—never through the link or phone number provided in a suspicious message.

We didn't get scammed, and **we don't want you to get scammed either!**

Please share this reminder with your friends, family, coworkers, and especially anyone who may be more vulnerable to scams. ❤️
