I just got off the phone with a representative from our Post Office to get things in line for Saturdays Postal Carrier Food Drive! If you haven’t received your reminder postcard yet in the mail, you will be getting it today! Note that although we appreciate all donations we are still overwhelmed with Mac and Cheese and Beans so we do not need those items. We do need canned meat, canned corn and canned fruit though! I appreciate your help. Thank you!
(Please place non perishable donations by your mailbox on Saturday, May 9th for your mail carrier to pick up)

Today was our last day with the Choices volunteer team. This school year we mostly worked with Lily, Ava and Stanley(and Rich of course).
We’ve been blessed by their presence for several years now.
We always have such a good time when they’re around…I can’t even begin to tell you how much joy they bring to our front of the house operation. They bring such light into our pantry! ☀️
Thank you guys- we truly appreciate your work and your sweet personalities.

I am happy to share some great news this Wednesday morning..
WE HIT OUR COMMUNITY CHALLENGE GOAL!

I thank each and every one of you who answered the call to help fill our "grocery bag" and stock our shelves here.
We reached 66,000 pounds of food and dollars (combined) over TWO MONTHS and before the deadline at that!
I can't begin to explain how important meeting this challenge every year is!! You guys are so generous to us. It is so encouraging to see that it has personally inspired me to be generous over the course of this challenge as well.
Thank you so much for helping our community and helping us meet our goal for 2026 Community Challenge!

I want to take a moment and wish our volunteers a HAPPY National Volunteer Week!!
These photos are just a little inside look of the help we have here during our 5 day food distribution (Monday through Friday).

Each month we have an average of 40 volunteers who put in MANY hours to help this mission succeed.

I can’t thank them enough for their time and commitment to serving our community!!
We also have a great crew involved with our Board of Directors who meet monthly and go over any and all pantry related information.
Their level of care is outstanding.
We are so blessed to have a great team!

I love each of them for the uniqueness and skillset they bring to the Pantry and there is no way we (I) could do this without them!
