Today, we fly with heavy hearts. 🚁🖤

ARCH 24 started our shift with the tones dropping and our crew taking to the sky for someone who needed us. Today, that familiar routine carries a little more weight.

Our air medical community is grieving following the tragic REACH Air Medical helicopter crash in California. Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone affected, their families, and our colleagues at REACH.

Moments like this remind us that safety is never assumed. It’s in every weather check, briefing, walk-around and checklist. It’s in the communication between our pilots, medical crews, maintenance and communications—and the willingness of every team member to speak up, slow down or say no when something isn’t right.

The air medical community is an incredibly tight-knit family. We may wear different flight suits, fly different aircraft and have different names on the side of our helicopters, but we share the same mission, the same risks and the same commitment to bringing people home.

When tragedy strikes one program, it is felt throughout our entire community.

Today, as ARCH 24 continues to answer the call, we carry our REACH colleagues and their families with us.

Different aircraft. Different uniforms. One air medical family.

☕️🚁 Happy National Coffee Day from ARCH 24!

Around here, coffee is practically part of the flight crew — and thankfully, we have our very own “barista” pilot, Jim, keeping everyone properly caffeinated. 😂☕️

Today’s coffee break came with a little continuing education as our crew came together to learn about new point-of-care testing available to us. Having more diagnostic information at our fingertips helps us continue providing high-level critical care wherever our patients need us.

Great coffee. Great crew. Always learning. Always ready. 🚁❤️

Mother Nature has kept things interesting the last few days, but one thing hasn’t changed — our crew is here and ready to serve our communities.

Weather conditions can vary mile by mile and change quickly, so don’t let the clouds make the decision for you.

Sometimes, Crew Resource Management extends beyond the aircraft—and even beyond a single base. 🚁

When ARCH 24 and RESCUE 1 were each short a crew member today, our teams adapted, collaborated, and combined resources to keep our communities covered.

Together, we formed a complete crew at RESCUE 1 and remained available to answer the call. After responding to a call in Washington County, we even crossed paths with our friends from ARCH 4!

Different bases. One team. One mission: being there when our communities need us. ❤️🚁

On September 11, ARCH 24 is honored to take to the skies over DuQuoin as we remember the lives lost, the heroes who answered the call, and the first responders who ran toward danger when others were running away.

As a crew of first responders ourselves, the significance of this day is never lost on us.

We’re proud to join the DuQuoin Indians for their Military and First Responder Night under the Friday night lights for a flyover in remembrance of 9/11 and in honor of those who serve our communities every day. 🇺🇸

We remember. We honor. We will never forget.

🇺🇸 25 YEARS — WE REMEMBER.

On September 11, 2001, our nation experienced unimaginable loss — and witnessed extraordinary courage.

Today, 25 years later, we remember the 2,977 lives lost. We honor the firefighters, EMS professionals, law enforcement officers, healthcare workers, military members, dispatchers, and ordinary citizens who answered the call.

For those of us who serve today, their courage is a reminder of what it means to answer when someone needs you most.

From the crew of ARCH 24, we remember the fallen, honor the heroes, and stand with the families who carry their memories forward.
