Vfw Post Murray Our goal is to serve local Veterans, military personnel and their families. Interested in joining? https://www.vfw.org/eligibility

While we advocate for veteran issues, we work toward fostering camaraderie among Veterans of overseas conflict. VFW Post 6291 is fully engaged within the city of Murray, KY and across Calloway County. The Post participates in, but not limited to:
* Assist Veterans and their families apply for benefits
* Fostering camaraderie among Veterans
* Advocate for Veteran issues
* Community parades
* Perfo

rm full military funeral honors to those who served honorably
* Veterans Day assemblies with our local school districts
* Distributes poppies to honor fallen heroes
* Assist Veterans with limited mobility assistance
* Fosters Patriotism within our local school districts through the VFW Teacher of the
Year Program, Patriots Pen Essay Contest and Voice of Democracy Competition
