Thank you to Murray Calloway County Hospital and Purchase Area Health Education Center - AHEC for hosting an awesome summer camp this year. Students from our Pre-Nursing/Allied Health Pathways were able to attend the camp and learn skills as well as build on their healthcare knowledge. These students are the future of healthcare and we are so proud!

Important Camp Information!!!!

Dress Requirements

Electrical and Carpentry Skills Camps:

They will need to wear closed toed shoes, jeans and short sleeved shirts. Please do not wear shorts or long sleeved shirts. We will provide safety glasses!

Welding Skills Camp:

They will need to wear above the ankle leather boots, jeans and a 100% cotton long-sleeved shirt. Please do not wear short sleeves, tennis shoes, shorts or polyester. We will provide all other equipment.

Nursing Skills Camp:

This camp does not have a clothing requirement. We will provide all materials needed.

Congratulations to our Welding Students that placed in their welding competitions these past two weeks.

Our Welding Fabrication team (left) consisting of Maddox Fox, Kaleb Carpenter and Blake Downey, placed 1st and will be advancing to the state level. All three are CCSD students.

Aiden Baxter (right picture, in middle) placed 1st in the Welding 1 competition. This competition is strictly for first year welders. Aiden is a freshman at MHS and will advance to the state level.

We had an incredible first day of our first ever Mistletoe Marketplace. Such a wonderful joint venture between MKY Cares, the Community Education Advisory Council, the MCCATC and the Murray Independent and Calloway County School districts.

We have so many wonderful vendors and some of our booths are featuring student made projects!

We still have a full day tomorrow so come out and see us from 1 pm -5 pm.

Don't forget Santa will be visiting for pictures from 2 pm-3 pm!!!
