Yard Signs

If you plan to support my campaign in the general election on November 3 and would like to keep the yard sign in your yard, just let me know. You can take it up and store it until fall, and if you need a new wire stand later, I’ll be glad to bring you one.

Otherwise, I was out collecting signs today to help save money for the general election. The rain was much needed, but it did slow me down a little.

Tonight, I’m deeply humbled and grateful for the support shown by the people of Calloway County. Thank you for the incredible encouragement and for the 61% support in tonight’s election.

Thank you to everyone who prayed, encouraged me, donated, shared posts, displayed signs, and took time to talk with me during this campaign. I also want to thank Judge Executive Kenny Imes for his years of service and mentorship during my time as magistrate.

Over the last several months, I’ve knocked on many doors, and those conversations reminded me how much people care about the future of Calloway County.

This campaign has always been about integrity, transparency, communication, and service to the people.

But tonight is not the finish line. This primary was an important step, and now we continue toward the general election in November.

My message will remain the same:
We are one community — the City of Murray, the City of Hazel, and our rural community — not three.

Tonight was an important step, but tomorrow morning, we simply get back to work.

Thank you, Calloway County.

KY 94 in Calloway County to Close at MP 6.44, West of Murray, on May 26 for Bridge Rehab Project

Expected to last until end of July

The existing bridge over Haynes Creek will have the superstructure replaced. This is along KY 94 between KY 783 and Hudson Road/Oaks Country Club Road, west of Murray.

Jim Smith Contracting is serving as the prime contractor for this $150,000 project.

They KYTC suggest Motorists are asked to self-detour.

But looking at a map, here are some options.

The quickest detour around the worksite is to use Hudson Road - Culver Lane - Hwy 783; which adds about 1.6 miles on to the normal trip. But, both Hudson and Culver are gravel roads.

A second option is to use County Club - Wiswell - Hwy 783; which adds about 3.8 miles on to the normal trip.

But depending on where you are going out west on Hwy 94 or into town, you could use Hwy 783 and Hwy 121; which adds about 2.8 miles onto a trip. Or, Hwy 783 and Wiswell; which adds about 3.1 miles.

Just depends on where you are coming from and going.
