The Housing Authority of Murray is upgrading the deadbolt lock system for all units. A contractor will be on site on Monday, June 15th, 2026. Their inspection will begin at approximately 8:30 a.m. and could go through mid-day Tuesday, June 16th.
Each front door lock will be inspected. They will not enter the unit, and you do not have to be home during this inspection. A member of the HAM maintenance staff will accompany the contractor.

Be sure and leave your front screen door unlocked both Monday and Tuesday.

Emails were sent out to residents with an email on file, and phone calls will be made tomorrow for those without a working email address.

TRESPASS NOTICE: David Allsop has been permanently trespassed from all Housing Authority property. He was performing unauthorized repairs and maintenance services on the property. If you have used his services for repairs in your apartment, you are responsible for any damages that may occur. No one is authorized to perform repairs on the property except for our staff and our contractors. If he is found on the property again, he will be arrested.

Update: Crews worked through the night to restore power and drastically reduced outages from 17 separate outages to 1. Crews will continue to work until power is restored.

WKRECC is aware of multiple power outages throughout our four service territory. Currently, around 1500 members are affected. Crews have been dispatched. Please refer to our outage map at wkrecc.com.

Once again, we’ll Light Up the Sky over Kentucky Lake on July 3rd!

Last year, more than 1,500 boats gathered on the water to watch, along with thousands more enjoying the show from shore.
