HOPE Calloway Community-funded nonprofit dedicated to serving homeless individuals in Calloway Co. KY through emergency care and our supportive transitional housing program.

HOMELESSNESS doesn’t always appear as you would envision it. Some people who are homeless have full-time jobs, are clean-shaven and well-spoken. Others have a high school diploma or college degree, but have been victims of circumstances beyond their control. Some are teenagers or college students who are known as “couch surfers.“ Some are single mothers who are escaping domestic violence. Others a

re married couples who have lost their jobs and have found themselves to be down on their luck. And some might be struggling to make ends meet because of a devastating medical diagnosis such as cancer. The scenarios are endless. ALL of these people have a story. HOPE Calloway seeks to listen to these stories and show compassion to our friends and neighbors who are facing homelessness by helping them along their pathway to success.

➡️ With the prices of groceries increasing daily, the ability to cook at home is essential for low income families. 🌽 🍎 🥖

➡️ When we place a homeless family in a HOPE Calloway transitional home, we want them to be able to cook at home for every meal starting on day one. 🧑‍🍳 ❤️ 👨‍🍳

➡️ Murray Calloway County Board of Realtors helped make that happen this week! Our residents will move out of homelessness into a home & pantry stocked with the essentials needed to prep meals…immediately!

We are proud to honor the Murray Police Department's telecommunicators on this National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week. This week we recognize the contributions that these professionals make towards increasing public safety in our community. Whenever you are calling for police, fire, or EMS services, they are the calm reassuring voices that you hear that get help to you quickly.
