Join us next week as we join together with the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships to bring you a RACER One Stop - Education Abroad event! Do you have financial reserves that you want to use towards a study abroad program but you aren’t sure how to do it? Come and chat with the OFAS and the EAO to see where your money will take you! Drop by any time from 10a to 1p!

It is also almost time for the annual Study Abroad Fair! The Curris Center will be buzzing with talks about international travel on Thursday, September 10th. Come out and see your Murray State faculty as they prepare for their study abroad programs next semester and find out how you can join them! Many of our study abroad providers will also be present to showcase their amazing lineups of programs for our students. Drop by, fall in love with a program, and start an application for a life-changing experience all in one go!

Want to travel somewhere warm this Winter Break? Travel with CCSA to New Zealand this December and earn academic credit at the same time! Courses include:

🎶| From Māori to Middle-earth: Film Music Appreciation - taught by Murray State professor Chris Sharpe, this class allows students to discover how music can shape the movies and television that we love. Spend a day at the Hobbiton film set and other New Zealand film locations and learn how music can change the way you see the world. Best of all, Murray State students can earn either a University Studies credit or an Honors seminar credit with this course!

📸| Lights, Lens, and Landscape: Photography in New Zealand - try your hand at photography while exploring the natural wonders that New Zealand has to offer. Build out your portfolio or indulge in a new hobby with this course!

🌍| Storytelling for Advertising, Marketing, and Public Relations in London - taught by Murray State professor Marcie Hinton, students will turn London into their own personal media lab and uncover how London sells itself globally.

🎓| Instructional Technology: Creating Digital Learning for P-12 - taught by Murray State professor Jessica Pryor, students will explore how technology, storytelling, and design can inspire learning and spark curiosity for young learners.

Worth another share! It was a great year!

Murray State University’s Education Abroad program continues to expand global learning opportunities for our students. This year, 260 Racers are studying abroad from fall 2025 through summer 2026 — a 9.7% increase from the same period in fall 2024 through summer 2025.
