If you enjoy literary pursuits, support education, local causes and want to have fun with other women who feel likewise, join the Alpha Dept!
Meetings are on the 3rd Saturday mornings of each month, Sept. thru May, at 9:30 am at the MWC Clubhouse. We enjoy brunch, a guest speaker and business of the department.
Special Projects of our year include:
1. Annual Adult Spelling Bee for Adult Education
2. Adopting families to support for Christmas gifts
3. Judging Poetry and Short Story Contest
4. Scholarship for female non-traditional student at MSU
5. GED Graduation Reception
6. Purchasing books for the public library
Alpha Dept. also supports local charities and nonprofits:
Needline, Veterans, Murray Group Home, CASA, West KY Mentoring, and others as needs arise.
