🚨 Calloway County E-911 To***co Barn Registry 🚨

To cut down on false fire alarms during to***co curing season, E-911 is creating a registry of local to***co barns. Many residents mistake the normal white smoke from dark-fired to***co for actual barn fires, leading to unnecessary emergency calls.
Farmers can now register their barns—listing locations, ventilation systems, and contact info—so first responders have the details they need before arriving on scene. The effort, led by E-911’s Fiona Branham, aims to improve response times and prevent confusion next season.

The barn location will also be given a 911 address if it is not located on residential property, which also is beneficial when an emergency arises, and a quick response is needed by first responders.

On August 27, 2026, at approximately 9:00 p.m., deputies responded to a residence on Pondview Lane regarding a possible domestic disturbance involving a handgun.

The investigation determined that the argument had been verbal and had not become physical. During the argument, Jaxon Keyes allegedly entered the garage and fired several rounds at a target inside. An occupied residence was located directly behind the garage.

Deputies also determined that Keyes was a convicted felon. He was arrested and lodged at the Calloway County Detention Center.

Another Flock success in our area!

Flock cameras recently helped law enforcement locate a runaway juvenile in Illinois. The juvenile was found safely with an adult, who was arrested and charged.

This is another great example of technology and cooperation between agencies helping protect our communities—and our children.

A trailer was stolen from TPD Trailer Sales in Dexter Tuesday night.

The trailer is a 2027 MAXXD Trailers 34’ 30K YDX, gray metallic in color. This is not a standard-option trailer and should be fairly easy to distinguish.

Trailer details:

* 🔹 34’ MAXXD 30K YDX
* 🔹 Gray metallic color
* 🔹 Aluminum wheels
* 🔹 Oak floor
* 🔹 Cleated tail
* 🔹 15K axles
* 🔹 Sliding ratchets
* 🔹 Dunnage box on passenger side
* 🔹 Damage on the passenger side near the axles from striking a gate during the theft

The suspect vehicle is believed to be a black 2017–2022 Ford F-250 or F-350.

🚨 TRAILER THEFTS 🚨
Our area has recently experienced a rash of trailer thefts.
🔒 Lock it up — even when it’s parked at home.
• Use a hitch/coupler or wheel lock
• Park in a well-lit area
• Record your trailer’s VIN/serial number and keep current photos

Unfortunately, one of the recent thefts likely would have been captured by a Flock Camera, but that camera had recently been vandalized and was not operational when the theft occurred.

This is a good reminder that damaging public safety equipment doesn’t just damage a camera — it can take away an investigative tool when a victim needs it most.

Both will begin the law enforcement academy on September 6, 2026, with graduation scheduled for March 4, 2027.

On August 12, 2026, at approximately 2:00 a.m., deputies responded to a residence on Edgewood Drive after an individual known to the occupants reportedly attempted to force entry into the home. Before deputies arrived, the individual gained entry and assaulted one of the occupants.

Upon arrival, deputies located the vehicle in which the suspect, Keith Fuller, had arrived; however, Fuller had fled the area on foot. Deputies searched the surrounding area for several hours before Fuller turned himself in. He was lodged at the Calloway County Detention Center. No one involved required medical treatment.

Panorama/Lake Way residents: We are seeking help locating a male who fled a residence around 2:00 a.m. and is believed to be on foot in the area.

Description:
White male
Brown hair
Approx. 6’2”
Approx. 200 lbs
No clothing description

Residents are asked to review security, doorbell, and other surveillance footage for any sightings or suspicious activity matching this description.

The individual is believed to be in the area for a specific reason, with no indication of random criminal activity. Do not approach or attempt to detain him.
