Meet the Mayor premieres tomorrow, September 1!

Murray City is launching a new monthly podcast hosted by Mayor Brett Hales and the first guest is someone who needs no introduction in Utah: singer, Broadway performer and longtime friend David Osmond.

Their first conversation is especially personal. Both Mayor Hales and David live with multiple sclerosis, and they talk about diagnosis, resilience, and the unexpected friendships that come from difficult experiences. As David puts it, “It’s a terrible way to meet great people.”

David also turns the mic around, asking Mayor Hales about Murray City and what it’s really like to run a city day to day.

It’s an honest, personal conversation between two friends, and the first of many conversations about the people, stories and issues that make Murray what it is.

Starting tomorrow, September 1, new episodes of Meet the Mayor will be released the first Tuesday of each month on YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts and more.
