Way to go Sharks!!! 🦈

"The Fastest Fins on Two Feet" took a chomp out of the county competition and became champions. The Lady Sharks won the Varsity Girls County Championship! Three of the girls received All-County Team status. Faith Reiss won the JV Girls County Championship. Tommy Jensen then went out and won the Varsity Boys race to become the Horry County Varsity Boys Champion. The Varsity Boys team placed a close 3rd while the JV Boys were runner up. The JV girls finished a strong 4th.

Maryn Schubiger, Mackenzie Johnston, and Marlee Schuping placed in the top 10 and were awarded All-County. Sydney Beadle and Brandy Betancourt completed the Lady Sharks Scoring. Tommy Jensen and Stephen Alot finished in the top ten for the Varsity Boys also receiving All-County honors. Zaccarry Wilkinson, Jacob Wypych, and Paulo Andrade all scored for the boys. Rylin Smith, Charlie Teachen, Finn Schubiger, and Brendan Rahill all placed in the top 10 and received JV County medals.

The County meet is the end to a great JV season. Meanwhile the varsity teams prepare for the Region Champioship on October 29th.
