A conference full of inspiring women AND a K9 meet-up? 🐾💜 I’d call that a pretty great day!

I had so much fun attending the RISE: Women in Policing Conference, meeting attendees, and making new friends. Thanks to everyone who stopped to say hi! I take my networking responsibilities very seriously.

It was so great to see how different agencies, different jobs, come together because of one very important thing in common: we’re all here to serve our communities. 🐾

One of my favorite nights of the year is National Night Out! 🐾 This year’s celebration brought me to Norco, and I had the best time visiting with families, making new friends, and spending time with our amazing community partners. National Night Out rotates between Norco, Eastvale, and Jurupa Valley, and no matter where it is, I’m always excited to be part of it. Until next year! 💜

I officially dived into five! 🧜🏽‍♀️🎉💜
I had the BEST birthday celebrating with all of my favorite humans (and even my K9 friends, Chewie & Solo, who apparently didn’t get the mermaid tale memo)! There were mermaids, lots of smiles, belly rubs, and I even got my very own birthday cake… which, in case you were wondering, disappeared pretty quickly. 🎂🐾
Thank you to everyone who helped make my birthday so special. I feel so lucky to spend my days surrounded by amazing people who love me as much as I love them.
Here’s to another year of making new friends, spreading smiles, offering comfort, and maybe sneaking an extra treat or two along the way. 💙🌊

Earlier this week I spent the night doing what I do best—being there.

On Monday, I attended an event honoring Cadence Eileen and raising awareness about teen dating violence. While people shared stories and messages of hope, I offered comfort and a few extra tail wags.

Sometimes support looks like a conversation. Sometimes it looks like a hug. And sometimes it looks like a fluffy black poodle leaning against someone who needs a little extra comfort.

Thank you to everyone who came together to remember Cadence and help build a future where every young person experiences healthy, respectful relationships.

Sending love, comfort, and lots of tail wags 💜

Where in the world was I this month? Everywhere! 🐾

I spent May visiting events in Cabazon, Moreno Valley, and Hemet, plus making school visits in Lake Elsinore, Coachella, and Moreno Valley. It was a busy month filled with lots of new friends, tail wags, and opportunities to connect with our community.

As much as I love being out and about, I also know how important it is to take time for myself. Whether it’s a cozy nap, a relaxing walk, or simply enjoying a quiet moment, self-care matters too.

Since May is Mental Health Awareness Month, this is your friendly reminder to make time for yourself and do something that helps you recharge. Taking care of your mental health is just as important as taking care of everything else.

Now if you’ll excuse me, I think it’s time for another nap. 💜

Last week my fur friends and I had the honor and opportunity to support our community at the National Victims’ Rights Week Candelight Vigils. A victim’s voice will be heard. 🎗️🕯️💛

Where in the world is Dinah this week?? If you guessed the Lakeland Community Center with her friends from Family Service Association , you’d be right! We got to tour the new facility which is amazing! And we even made a poster for FSA’s upcoming Rally for Prevention in honor of Child Abuse Prevention Month, which will be held on April 25th from 11am - 1pm at the Temecula Duck Pond!

This week is Respect Week, and it’s one of my favorites because it reminds all of us how powerful kindness and respect can be. Whether I’m visiting schools, meeting families, or spending time with youth in our community, I see every day how a little respect goes a long way.

Let’s keep practicing respect — not just this week, but every day. I’ll be out there doing my part with plenty of calm vibes, tail wags, and encouragement.

Stay kind, friends.
💜 Dinah
