Save the date! We hope to see you at our 2026 National Crime Victims’ Rights Week Candlelight Vigils as we reflect on this year’s theme: Courage, Remembrance, and Hope.

These evenings offer a space to honor the lives impacted by crime, uplift survivors, and come together in solidarity, healing, and the pursuit of justice.

This week is Respect Week, and it’s one of my favorites because it reminds all of us how powerful kindness and respect can be. Whether I’m visiting schools, meeting families, or spending time with youth in our community, I see every day how a little respect goes a long way.

Let’s keep practicing respect — not just this week, but every day. I’ll be out there doing my part with plenty of calm vibes, tail wags, and encouragement.
