Audiobook Walking Club meets at the back of the library from 9 AM to 10 AM.

Select Mondays: June 22, and July 06

This isn’t your typical book club! We will gather this summer on select Mondays to enjoy audiobooks while we walk. No need for small talk - just come along, walk with us, and listen to your audiobook! Bring your own audiobook and headphones, and we’ll all walk together for an hour.

Pearl Center with Creative Arts will guide you down memory lane with the history of California oranges, along with a guided tote bag painting. All supplies are provided. Space is limited, and registration is required.

Journal Club meets in the Lab on Wednesday, June 18, at 4 PM.

Journal Club is a space to enjoy journaling with a small community, great for those who regularly journal or have always wanted to dip their toes into it! Join us for coffee, free materials, and prompts to get you started. Feel free to bring in your own regular journal and journaling tools, otherwise all material will be provided. We will also be offering a space to trade unused material that you don't have the heart to throw away, but think it needs a new home!

If you have been to the recently you may have seen (and heard) some progress with the children's expansion project.

We were able to look through the scrim and take a quick photo of what the building is looking like. From the photo you can see the future Garden of Verses in foreground, the new play area and picture books space, and the windows to the right is the new children's programming space.

Not only did our recent TK tours from Murrieta Elementary School get to look at the action so did the Library staff.

Library staff got to take a quick tour inside the expansion to get familiar with the space. Everyone was impressed with the work John and his team at RC Construction is doing (thanks team!).

While the staff may not have an opening timeline for the expansion just yet, we know your patience and support will be worth the wait.
