Your Riverside County Sheriff’s Rural Crime Team was out last night in the Hemet area. Deputies were able to follow through on another case and take a suspect into custody.

Today the Riverside County Sheriff’s Rural Crime Team and the Southwest Station’s Core team assited a patrol deputy on recovering a stolen golf cart in the Aguanga area. Deputies were able to recover this stolen golf cart thanks to the communities anonymous tips. With the community’s help we can continue to recover stolen property and prevent further crime from happening. Southwest Sheriff's Station

Your Rural Crime Team took another weapon off the streets today. During a traffic stop in the city of Hemet deputies arrested a suspect for outstanding warrants and being a convicted felon possessing a firearm.

The Riverside County Sheriff’s Rural Crime Team participated in a large scale multi agency operation. A total of 45 suspects were arrested during this operation. These arrests were made through various cities along Ramona Expressway and Cajalco Road areas.

Last week the Riverside County Sheriff’s Rural Crime Team collaborated with the Inland Empire Financial Crimes Task Force on mail theft cases. Deputy Duhamel was able to identify the suspects breaking into mail boxes in Temecula, Wi******er, Perris, and Hemet areas. Deputies and Federal Postal Inspectors arrested these suspects for breaking into mail boxes and recovered several letters/packages of stolen mail.
